Annie Wrap - Trellis

The Annie Wrap in Trellis is a simple, versatile layering piece from Soleil Soleil, cut from the same custom embroidered cotton lace as the Carmen Top. It is designed as an apron style wrap with two tie closures, which means it can be styled in a few different ways depending on the occasion. Worn over swimwear it reads as a sheer mini skirt. Over a pareo or linen trousers it becomes a textural finishing layer that adds visual interest without bulk.

The Trellis fabric is what makes this piece. Soleil Soleil has taken their Florienne floral artwork and translated it into an embroidered lace construction, where the pattern is built into the structure of the cotton itself rather than printed on the surface. The result is a lattice of interwoven threads with a natural transparency and a handcrafted, artisanal quality. Cold gentle machine wash. Do not rub, soak, wring or bleach. Line dry in shade. Iron on low heat.
